A Message from the Chair

The exceptional students of Otis Toy Design are eager to showcase their work from their time at Otis. This year, we have 22 dedicated seniors who have diligently honed the skills necessary to make their mark in the world of toys.

Attendees will experience a diverse array of competencies, encompassing traditional and digital drawing, sculpting, 3D modeling, toy concepting, problem solving, design thinking and more. You can expect to see vibrant renderings of characters and imaginative story worlds. Hand-sculpted models will transform 2D concepts into tangible 3D prototypes. The showcased toy concepts will span various categories including plush, preschool, dolls, action figures, vehicles, and games.

Our students possess a keen understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior, enabling them to generate meaningful ideas with clear intent. Our department takes pride in its robust connections with industry professionals, which have led to outstanding outcomes in corporate-sponsored projects.

Our program is dedicated to equipping the forthcoming generation of innovative designers. We invite you to join us in celebrating this dynamic group of young creators, brimming with enthusiasm, creativity, and an impressive array of toy concepts, ready to embark on their careers in Toy Design.
