2D Animation Emphasis

The 2D Animation emphasis provides students with a structured pathway to develop advanced skills in character performance, visual development, expressive movement, and stylistic world-building using hand-drawn and digital 2D techniques.

The four-course sequence offers a clear progression, from observational and technical grounding to digital painting and design, to choreographed movement, and finally to advanced visual development, allowing students to specialize in 2D animation as a distinct creative practice.
