BFA Illustration
Hello! My name is Savannah Monrreal. I am a cartoonist based in Los Angeles, graduating
Otis College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Creative
Writing. My art practice focuses on narrative based work, specifically comics, graphic
novels, storybooks and the like. I also dabble in animation, concept art, and editorial
illustrating.
I'm quite adaptable as an artist but my passion is creating stories and visuals that
are inspired by vintage aesthetics (not vintage values). I strive to create work that
people can find comfort and recognition in while continuously pushing the boundaries
of my art practice.
