Family, friends, the Otis Community, current and future employers, it is with great
pleasure that I welcome you to the final showing of the graduating Class of 2023 in
Graphic Design/Illustration.
This virtual exhibition features illustration and graphic design that ranges from
traditional to radical—in thought, craft, social relevance, and entrepreneurial vision.
Our graduates were challenged to become their best selves as citizens, artists, and
designers under the most challenging circumstances. Featured projects in this exhibition
are exceptional because they were conceived of and executed during a unique configuration
of instruction, peer to peer engagement, and unforeseen hurdles.
BRAVO to these graduates. They will be remembered for their courage and tenacity,
talent and optimism. Best of luck to all of them!
