Carly Jarocki 2024
BFA Fashion Design
Carly Jarocki is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Before moving to Los Angeles
to pursue a career in fashion, she was a sculptor and performing artist. Her interest
in fashion derives from how different materials in art interact with the human body.
At Otis College of Art and Design, she learned technical skills including illustrating,
sewing, patternmaking, creating techpacks, and more. She spent the summer of 2023
interning with Décor Global Inc. as a trend analyst and an assistant designer. Through
her experience as a student and in the workforce, Carly discovered that she truly
values what a brand stands for. She values the ethos of a brand, its commitment to
a sustainable future, and its impact on the communities it serves. Learning about
sustainability and investing in social causes has been the most rewarding part of
her college education and is something she intends to bring with her into the workforce.
