About the Facilities Management Department

The Mission of Facilities Management is to assist Otis College of Art and Design in meeting the goals of the Strategic Plan by effectively and efficiently managing the maintenance and operation of the facilities along with services under its jurisdiction, to the extend resources allow. We strive to do this by producing high-quality services through teamwork and recognizing the importance of people, those receiving and those delivering the service.

Announcements and Current Events

Communicating with your friends and family when a disaster occurs is important to make sure everyone is safe. This is why having both an evacuation and communication plan is important. National Public Health Week takes place this month (April). Center for Disease Control has sponsored a week-long interactive activity to raise awareness for individuals and their communities on recognizing public health threats and increasing health levels throughout the country. Please be sure to check the CDC website often, as the daily themes will be changing!

Additionally, to commemorate the National Public Health Week, President Obama issued a proclamation recognizing the value public health workers deliver to our country every day. The text of the proclamation can be found here.
