Each year, Otis College of Art and Design's graduating Architecture/Landscape/Interiors (A/L/I) seniors design and build a full-scale spatial environment in their final semester of study. See information below.
2015 A/L/I seniors (Rex Crafts, Diana Gonong, Shadi Hashemi, Suna Jaen, Merve Onur, Ju Sung Park, Cynthia Soto, Izzy Savage, and Nyann Swain Welborn) designed, fabricated, assembled, and installed a “SWARM” of 41 suspended monolithic forms that featured displays of student work. The monoliths were rotated both internally (front face-clockwise, back face-counterclockwise) and externally (the entire form) to create effects of movement and speed.
