Jingyu Zhou is a toy designer with a passion for understanding how children play, and why it is important to their cognitive and emotional development. Her scholarly curiosity in this area has translated into a keen interest in brand management, play patterns and toy research.
Jingyu is currently pursuing her BFA of Toy Design at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, and is expected to graduate in 2023. During her time at Otis, Jingyu has already gained valuable toy industry work experience in Disney Dolls at Jakks Pacific. Prior to this, she also gained preschool toy design experience on the Spin Master sponsorship project. Other experience at Otis involved a marketing strategy collaboration project with USC.
Jingyu is proficient in Photoshop, Illustration, Rhino and Procreate. She also is very optimistic about her ability to contribute in a positive way to the future of the world’s children, and to make meaningful and influential toys for the next generation
