The Painting program focuses on providing students with a comprehensive education in painting, emphasizing both technical skills and creative exploration. The curriculum covers various painting techniques, contemporary art practices, and art history, encouraging students to develop their unique artistic voices. The program includes studio work, critiques, and opportunities for exhibitions, preparing graduates for diverse careers in the arts.
The Photography program offers students a comprehensive education in contemporary photographic practices. The curriculum combines technical training with conceptual development, encouraging students to explore various photographic methods and technologies. Courses cover digital imaging, darkroom techniques, and experimental processes, alongside critical theory and art history.
The Sculpture/New Genres program emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to art-making, combining traditional sculptural techniques with contemporary practices. The curriculum encourages students to experiment with various media, including installation, performance, video, and digital art. Courses focus on developing conceptual and technical skills, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving.
