Parking Placard Requirements
All vehicles parked in the Otis College parking structure must display a valid parking placard at all times. The placard type and number must be visible and placed on the front windshield or hung from the rearview mirror.
Students, faculty, and staff are responsible for following all parking regulations and parking only in designated spaces. Visitor Day parking passes are available at the Campus Safety office all day and at the security podium during business hours.
All drivers and vehicles using the Otis College parking structure are required to comply with all posted signs, markings, and parking regulations at all times. Failure to comply may result in monetary citations or administrative action.
Parking Placards
Parking placards are issued by the Campus Safety and Security Office, located in the Anne Cole Building, Room 170.
Student parking placards must be renewed annually prior to the start of the Fall semester. Faculty and Staff parking placards must be renewed every five (5) years. Extension students must apply for a parking placard before the beginning of their course.
To obtain a parking permit, all students, faculty, and staff must complete the Online Parking Permit Request Form.
When completing the form, please have the following vehicle information available:
- Vehicle body type
- Make
- Model
- Year
- Color
- License plate number
- State of registration
If vehicle information changes after the form has been submitted, updates may be made through the Campus Safety and Security Office. Vehicle owners are responsible for updating their vehicle registration information whenever they begin operating a different vehicle. Placards can be used for multiple vehicles only if they are registered with Campus Safety and Security.
After submitting the online form, applicants must visit the Campus Safety and Security Office in the Anne Cole Building, Room 170, to pick up their parking placard. Vehicles found in the parking structure without a valid parking placard displayed will be cited.
