For the 2024 Otis Summer of Art program, Target will sponsor two Black/African American students to attend the three-day program as part of their Advancing Design Diversity initiative. The Summer of Art Target scholarships covers both academic tuition and materials.
Summer of Art is Otis College’s premier pre-college program, helping young artists develop their skills and pursue their creative passion for over the past twenty years.
Required Application Materials
Submit the following materials by 11:59 p.m. on April 29, 2024:
- Complete the online scholarship application
- Submit the following here:
- Unofficial Transcripts (high school and/or college)
- Personal Statement (300-500 words)
- 10 Piece Portfolio
- 5 Observational Drawings
- Still life, landscape, figure drawing, or self-portraits that have been created by looking at the actual objects, not using a photograph as a reference or traced
- 5 Pieces of Applicant’s Choice
- Any medium including but not limited to: drawings, illustration, painting, photography, 2D design, sculpture, 3D design, and time-based projects
- 5 Observational Drawings
