Capstone Projects

Students will work closely with an assigned industry mentor as they develop their capstone projects, with ongoing guidance throughout the program in areas such as critical thinking skills, professional guidelines for analyzing campaigns, communication, and presenting the final product.

  1. Campaign Project One: Students will make a case study of their favorite campaign and analyze its merits. The project will involve research across all aspects of the campaign, including print, social media, digital, and video. The final project deliverable will include a presentation that includes a thorough analysis and key findings.
  2. Campaign Project Two: Students will partner with fellow students from different concentration tracks to build a film campaign presentation based off a mock client brief. Students will develop content across various media platforms and create a presentation that includes one trailer and 1-2 accompanying shorter versions, storyboards, animatics, and three motion social shares across platforms such as Instagram stories, Reels, and TikTok.
  3. Portfolio Project: Students will complete professional products including a finished portfolio, resume, and interview materials to be used towards an apprenticeship/job application process.
