The Academic Assembly is an important part of the overall system of campus governance. The Assembly, together with the Faculty Senate, form a faculty governance structure in which faculty engage in discussion and consultation, and participate in the operation of the college for the purpose of providing the highest quality education available. The Academic Assembly does its work through a number of standing committees, which bring recommendations on policy and procedures to the Assembly as a whole for consideration and review. The Assembly is a key advisory body which makes recommendations to the Provost for review by the Senior Team.
Academic Assembly Community Meeting agendas and minutes are kept within the Nest LMS. The list of Committee Assignments and notes from meeting are located there as well. All faculty have access, but login is required. Please send any agenda items to the Co-Chairs one week in advance.
Academic Assembly and other Committee and Academic Meetings are available at Academic Meeting Calendar.
