The Art of Justice: MLK Day of Service and Expression at Otis College is a comprehensive event that combines community service, artistic expression, and education to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy.
This day-long program engages Otis students, alumnx, faculty, and staff as volunteers to lead workshops for K-12 students, focusing on themes of unity, diversity, and social justice through various mixed media art projects. The event features age-appropriate activities, including mural creation, creative storytelling, and poster design for social change, as well as free breakfast and lunch, a keynote speech, and campus tours. By blending art, education, and community engagement, this MLK Day of Service exemplifies the spirit of Dr. King's vision while fostering creativity and social awareness in participants of all ages.
