Bio/Affiliation

Steed Sun is a seasoned design leader with over 25 years of experience in toy, industrial, and product design, entertainment partnerships, and team leadership. With degrees and a background in both Industrial Design and Aerospace Engineering, he brings a unique interdisciplinary approach to design, blending technical precision with artistic creativity and vision.

Throughout his career, Steed has led design and development teams at major companies such as Mattel, Jada Toys, Loot Crate, and PhatMojo, where he spearheaded the creation of award-winning toys, collectibles, and entertainment-driven product lines. His expertise spans concept ideation, product innovation, branding, and cross-functional team management, ensuring creative visions are brought to life from concept to shelf.

As the co-founder and creative director of More Minds Studio, he has expanded his portfolio to include original animated content. He is the co-creator, design director, and art director of Team Mekbots Animal Rescue, a CG-animated preschool series that blends imaginative storytelling with engaging play patterns, further solidifying his impact on the entertainment industry.

Currently, Steed is the owner of Steed Sun Design, where he serves as a design and development consultant, assisting various toy and consumer goods companies in achieving their business goals and bringing their projects to market.
