Shelly Shibata Owen is the Creator and driving force behind OLO Industries, a female-owned IP development consultancy and licensor that focuses on creating innovative, kid-centered products. With over eight years in business running Olo, Shelly has successfully developed popular properties such as Smooshy Mushy, TLC Critters, BooBoo Better, and the new, imaginative doll styling brand, Style BAE. Her expertise in Concept Development, Fashion Design, Product Development, Brand Development, and Marketing has made her a leader in the children’s product industry.
Before founding OLO Industries, Shelly held key leadership roles as VP of Product Development at both Jakks Pacific (2014-2016) developing multiple lines of role play under the Disney license, and MGA Entertainment (2002-2008) developing Bratz collector dolls and Soda Pop Girls.
