Bio and Affiliation

Lisa Ohlweiler is a Los Angeles-based artist whose photographic works explore image context and formal analogies as a means to balance her love for conceptualism and that California quality of light. Lisa's work is included in the museum collection at LACMA and has been exhibited at Gallery Luisotti, Los Angeles; Cohen Gallery, Los Angeles; Arturo Bandini, Los Angeles; Margo Leavin gallery, Los Angeles; Bellfast Exposed, Bellfast. She received her BA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MFA from the University of Southern California. Lisa currently teaches photography at Otis College of Art and Design and Pasadena City College.
