Barb Cimity currently serves as Head of Production for Six Point Harness. She started in commercials and short form as Richard Williams’ producer for his Los Angeles studio, and following that, she owned her own shop doing the same.

Barb Cimity currently serves as Head of Production for Six Point Harness. Producers of a wide array of 2-D animated projects. Including the Oscar short “Hair Love” and the HBO Comedy special “Tig Drawn,” a fully animated comedy special based on Tig Notaro’s stand-up work. Netflix’s docuseries “How to become a Tyrant” and Netflix’s series Waffles & Mochi, Produced by the Obama’s company Higher Ground. Most recently, their work is seen in episodes 7 & 8 of this current season of  “The Boys.”

She started in commercials and short form as Richard Williams’ producer for his Los Angeles studio in the 80s; following that, she owned her own shop doing the same. 

Barb moved to feature animation in the mid-’90s for a long run at DreamWorks Animation. Touching almost all the films from The Road To El Dorado to Turbo. She was in production in multiple roles, for about a decade and then joined studio management as a Production Executive for the second half of her time there.

She joined the ranks of TV animation production when she went to produce stop motion at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, as their Line producer on Robot Chicken, seasons 7,8,9, winning the Emmy for season; SuperMansion, Buddy Thunderstruck, and many other stop-motion projects. 

Barb holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business. She is a former board member and current member of Women In animation and The Television Academy She is a native Californian, mother of 2 sons, and grandmother to 3 kids, 16, 7, and 15 mos., loves wine and Labradors.
