Sara Hunsucker
Fine Arts - 2002
The objects and images Hunsucker make are reflective of our current cultural moment. They are often concerned with the body, the grotesque, and humor. Her work questions the nature of failure and elevates the oddball. She experiments with capturing the inadequacies of expectation of people, places, and things. Through the examination of complex relationships, self-perception, and the unspoken hierarchies of stuff, she discovers new ways of expressing her lived experience.
