The O.R Gallery is located in the entrance of the Graduate Studios Building at: 10455 Jefferson Boulevard, Culver City, CA 90232. This space will be used for the exhibition of student, faculty, alumni and invited guests’ work from both the Grad Fine Arts and Grad Public Practice Programs. Housed within the O.R Gallery will be a project room and a showcase that we have named the “Incubator”. This showcase will present exhibitions of material, objects etc. that demonstrate the thinking processes of individual artists. Things that influence, inform, or that provide a diversion from, ones individual practice.
INAUGURAL EXHIBITION
The Inaugural Exhibition presents works by alumni Matthew Carter ’10, Lorenzo Hurtado-Segovia ‘07 and David Spanbock ’94. In the O.R Gallery Project Room, GFA student Nathan Gulick will present his installation Drop Ceiling. Graduate Fine Arts Chair Roy Dowell will present the first project in the Incubator.
