  • “Foregrounds” is a show exploring how we listen to sounds. It utilizes field recordings by blending songs and spoken word pieces with the soundscapes in which we listen to them – whether it be played along with Los Angeles traffic, the sound of a meal being prepared, or waves at the beach. Presented by DJ Derek (Corn), DJ Nasera (Alayon), DJ Max (Miles) of the Otis Radio class.

How to Develop an Institutional Partnership

HOW TO DEVELOP AN  INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERSHIP

An Institutional Partnership is the exchange of students between an Otis Department and a similar department/faculty at a partner Institution.  Exchanges generally focus on a specific discipline and frequently restrict participation to students in that department. To develop a partnership:

OTIS DEPARTMENTS

Step 1: Contact a Department at the Instituion you would like to develop a partnership with.

Step 2: Both you and the partner institution need to complete the Institutional Partnership Exchange Proposal

Step 3: Submit the completed proposal to the Center for International Education. The proposal will be reviewed by the International Education Steering Committee

Step 4: Upon approval, a Memorandum of Understanding will be issued and signed by both institutions.
