Fashion Mentors

For its Centennial Year, Otis College of Art and Design held its 37^th Fashion Show the evening of May 4^th celebrating the year-long collaboration between Otis students and a wide array of creative talent from some of the world’s best known fashion brands, stylists and designers.

The 36th Annual Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show is set to take place this Saturday, May 5 at the newly-extended Elaine and Bram Goldsmith Campus at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. The highly anticipated event is produced in collaboration with J. Ben Bourgeois Productions, known for creating upscale events.

Students in Otis College's BFA Fashion Design program are gearing up for their spring mentor projects. Each year professional designers, acting as client and mentor, give students a design challenge to research and present sketch solutions.

Once selected, the student puts their work into production, using face-to-face time with the mentor during fittings to refine their concepts that will ultimately walk the runway at the college's Annual Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show in May.
