Portfolio Development & College Preparation

College Preparation

Fall Semester Begins September 6th (current offerings)

Courses for High School Students and Above

Portfolio Development & College Preparation courses are designed for students interested in developing their artistic skills. Programs are taught by practicing professional artists, many of whom are Otis BFA faculty. Courses focus on skill-building, provide in-depth exploration of art materials and techniques, and encourage creative self-expression. Building a strong portfolio is essential for admission to Otis and other colleges of art and design. All courses are geared towards portfolio development to support application to Otis and other colleges of art and design.

For course descriptions and dates, faculty bios, and more information, check out the list of current offerings. In addition to College Preparation and Portfolio Development courses, Otis also offers a 4-week intensive college immersion program, Summer of Art for students 15 and older, and Young Artist Workshops for youth ages 5 – 15.

The fall semester begins September 6th and all courses run for 10 sessions.
