FACULTY & ALUMNI SHOW @ ONTARIO AIRPORT

Nov 27, 2013
OUT OF THIN AIR
Spotlight Category: Exhibition

Out of Thin Air, curated by Otis alumna Ginger Van Hook, “reflects upon the cultivation of… fine arts in Southern California where the illustrious sunshine creates a unique ambiance and glow in which to paint, plein-air or in-studio, with traditional oils, wood carvings or emerging digital and analogue photography as well as film technologies…”

The exhibition was originally shown in the United Airlines Terminal of LAX Los Angeles World Airports in 2012.  Among the 16 artists included in the exhibition are Fine Arts faculty Scott Grieger, Siri Kaur and Holly Tempo; Fine Arts alumni Renée Fox, Kenneth Ober, and Luke Van Hook; and Video Lab staff Mark X Farina.
