1-Step Submission

Step-By-Step Instructions for Building a 1-Step Submission Assignment in O-Space CMS

Go to O-Space.

Log into O-Space

  • Select "Course" under "My Courses" gray heading
  • Select "Submission" tab
  • Select "Add Submission"

Note: If previously created a submission for another course, select "Browse Submissions" to import to this class.

  • Enter "Name" for submission assignment
  • Enter "Description" for submission assignment

Note: The description should explain the coursework so students know what to submit.

  • Select "Save"
  • You will need to build the assignment steps = workflow (building blocks of submission)
  • Select "Add Step"
  • On the left menu, select "Evidence"

Note: If you want students to submit coursework to be reviewed the first step must always be "Evidence."

  • Enter "Name"
  • Enter "Description" of evidence
  • Set when you want step to be available by choosing an option on the right
  • Can also set response timeframe on right, choose a date and time students will no longer be able to submit
  • Select "Save"
