PEN announced its 2012 awards to eighteen "outstanding voices in literature." Graduate Writing faculty member Jen Hofer won an award for poetry in translation, Negro Marfil/Ivory by Myriam Moscona (Les Figues Press ). PEN is the most comprehensive literary awards program in the U.S., and its award program is more than 50 years old.
