NEA funds creative economy advocacy

Otis received a $75,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support digital initiatives and events to increase awareness and advocacy of the creative economy. Since 2007, Otis has commissioned an annual report from the LAEDC that focuses on the arts, design, and entertainment industries as a creative force in Southern California. (835,000 jobs, $121 billion in sales, $5.1 billion in taxes). The NEA, under the leadership of Chair Rocco Landesman, proactively supports initiatives that enhance healthy connections between art, design and strategic economic and cultural growth.
