Vitaminwater online competition for designer

On Wednesday, April 6 at 6 pm in the Otis Forum, Vitaminwater will launch a search for the next up-and-coming designer in an online design competition, in association with CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America), open to all students 15 years and older. At this launch event, Joe Zee, Creative Director of ELLE Magazine, and designers Shipley & Halmos will introduce the project, share their experience and insights, answer questions, and show a short film on young N.Y. fashion designers. They will choose 10 talented up and comers to join them in NY for an insider look at the fashion industry and will ultimately choose a winner who will showcase her/his design to the masses! Winner will also receive a $5,000 grant. 

Vitaminwater's exclusive line of t-shirts, “vitaminwater color collection,” will be designed by some of the best in the industry. the competition winner will design the final t-shirt that completes the collection. Your design could be sold along with designs by Chris Benz, Richard Chai, Derek Lam, Rag & Bone, Shipley & Halmos and Vena Cava.
