Our Lady of L.A. mannequin at Santa Monica Place

At the grand opening of Santa Monica Place on Friday, August 6, one hundred mannequins, designed by local artists, cultural and community leaders, including the Geffen Playhouse, Cirque de Soleil, Barneys N.Y., Tory Burch, and Kitson, were unveiled. They are on display until August 26. Otis is the charitable partner for this project, and alumni Kim Karlsrud ('07) and Danny Phillips ('08) created "Our Lady of the L.A. RIver," using plastic remants collected from the river that signal hope for its cultural and ecological future.
