Art knapsacks for Haitian children

04/27/10

Integrated Learning students have designed and produced hand woven knapsacks, filled with art supplies to be distributed to Haitian children who will participate in a global art therapy program in the coming months. This project is part of the Neighbor Gap Bridge series, which joins Otis' neighbors The Westchester Senior Citizens Center, the Custom Hotel, Loyola Elementary School, and the Westchester Loyola Branch Library.

The knapsacks will be on display starting with a presentation April 30, 9:30-11, and through May 16 at the Custom Hotel ground floor gallery, 8639 Lincoln Blvd, L.A. 90045
