Otis and :OUTPUT Foundation, based in Amsterdam, present an international symposium for professionals, academics, and students of graphic, product and architectural design. The inquiry of each WHAT MATTERS shifts and changes relative to the content, contact and interaction among invited speakers and participants. This event asks us to consider current and critical theories in the education and practice of architecture and design. Prompts are exchanged and themes emerge as the day progresses and shared interests are realized.
Speakers include Kate Moross, graphic design, UK; Elio Caccavale, product design, UK; Mark Lee, architecture, Principal, JOHNSTONMARKLEE, USA; Juliette Bellocq, graphic design, Handmade, USA; and Florian Pfeffer, graphic design, Co-founder :output foundation, partner in oneone communication, Amsterdam/ | NL/GER). A pecha kucha curated by Otis and the A + D Museum follows each session. Participants include April Greiman, Michael Rotondi, Stuart Bailey, Jody Turner, and Ming Fung.
Maximum Participation: 75. Fee: $30 for adults; $15 for students; free for A + D Museum members.
Registration begins March 3.
