Grads CHARLES MCDANIEL, LINDSEY JACKSON and MICHELLE WIENER had their MFA exhibitions in the Bolsky Gallery in March and April.
The Grad Fine Arts Hole-in-the-Wall Gallery is now showing the work of KATHRIN BURMESTER '07.
Alum STEVEN BANKHEAD has a solo show called Battery at Circus gallery in L.A from April 5 to May 10 2008. The exhibition was reviewed by Leah Ohlman in the LA Times on April 25, 2008.
Alum MERCEDES GERTZ '01 was in a two-person show called Fairy Tale at Talento Arte Visual in Polanco, Mexico from April 10 to April 30, 2008.
Alum SCOTT SHELDON '07 is in the group show Interactions: Armory Artists and their Art at the Armory in Pasadena from april 13 to June 15, 2008. the exhibition is curated by Lorraine Cleary Dale.
Alum TAMASHA WILLIAMSON '99 is in the group exhibition Disinhibition: Black Art and Blue Humor, at Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago from April 13 to June 22, 2008. The show is curated by Director of Education Blake Bradford.
Alum SABINE DEHNEL '01 has work in the exhibition Die Insel des zweitens Gesichts / L'illa de les Dues Cares, which is an exchange project between artists from Spain and Germany from April 11 to May 16, 2008 at Deichtorcenter in Hamburg, Germany and at Espai Ramón Llull, Palma de Mallorca in Spain. DEHNEL also showed her work with gallery Esther Woedehoff (Paris) at the Art Fair Art Cologne in April 2008.
Graduate faculty JUDIE BAMBER, recipient of a 2008 C.O.L.A INDIVIDUAL ARTIST FELLOWSHIP IN VISUAL ART will be showing her work from MAY 16 to JULY 13, 2008 at Barnsdall Municipal Art Gallery.
Winner of the first Otis-Sandberg Residency Exchange fellowship SOJUNG KWON '07 is curating an exhibition in Kunstvlaai 7 from May 11-18, 2008 at Westergasfabriek, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Alum CHIP MCDANIEL '08 will show his work in Resurrection (A New Look at Old Photographic Processes) at 23 Sandy Gallery in Portland, OR from May 2 to May 31, 2008. The show was curated by Laura Moya.
Graduate faculty ANNETTA KAPON participated in the group exhibition: “Digital Media,” in Valencia, Spain, April 17-May 18.
