Where Do I Get a Parking Permit?


You can pick up your parking permit from the Office of Registration and Records (2nd Floor, Ahmanson Hall). Your parking permit must be visible whenever you park at the College to avoid receiving a ticket or having your car towed by the LAPD.

 

How Do I Avoid Getting a Parking Ticket?

If you don't want a parking ticket be sure to avoid the following:

   • Taking up 2 spaces

   • Parking in areas designated for:

         °  visitors

       ° disabled persons

        ° * carpool

 

How Much are Parking Tickets?

Parking tickets are a minimum of $35. Some violations also carry additional fines assesed by the city and/or county government

 

What If I Don't Pay the Ticket?

You won't be allowed to register for classes, check out equipment from any of the labs, receive grades or obtain transcripts.

 

How Do I Appeal a Parking Ticket?


You will need to fill out the Parking Appeals Application and submit it to the Office of Student Affairs. Your Parking Ticket Appeal will be reviewed by the Dean of Student Affairs and the Director of Operations and you will be contacted by Otis email on whether your ticket will be upheld or dismissed.
