This Library does not participate in an Inter-Library Loan program.
Because we do not offer majors or advanced degrees in majors that rely heavily on research, the nature of research needs of students and faculty usually don't require inter-library loans. ILL programs are expensive to implement and it takes weeks or months sometimes to actually receive the requested materials. For Otis, it is not practical.
What we do offer faculty is a the ability to use the libraries of the SCELC Consortium through a Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement.
We also encourage students and faculty to request books and other materials that they find lacking in the collection. The reality is that is it often cheaper and faster to buy the needed material than to order it through inter-library loan.
