Otis supports technology initiatives in the classroom.

The Blended Learning Initiative Blended Learning is form of e-learning that “blends” face-to-face teaching with online delivery. The Teaching/Learning Center assists faculty members in incorporating new technologies into courses wherever appropriate. To Date @ Otis: Since spring 2012, we have added 26 blended studio & liberal arts courses to the curriculum. Go here for more information.

The iPAD Pilot Project Since fall 2011, LAS has integrated the use of iPADs into a section of first year English courses to determine its viability as: Online Textbook Tool for Enabling Collaboration and Project-Based Learning Support for Blended Learning Coolness Factor We are currently exploring ways to use the iPAD in studio courses.
