Funded Project: Attendance at the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, Colorado, to participate in an intensive course in French-style fine leather binding taught by highly-regarded French bookbinder and teacher, Monique Lallier, May 24-June 4, 2010.

Excerpt: "During the two-week class I completed two full-leather bindings utilizing a variety of interior and exterior techniques such as laced-in boards, onlays, underlays, tooling and embroidered endbands, all in the French technique. The focus was on learning new skills and refining binding techniques while developing creative design elements."
