Description

This course includes two separate collaborations with Belgian-based design programs; attendance to an international design conference; studio visits; and museum excursions. Collaboration with Sint Lucas, Ghent: Michael Bussaer, Faculty of Sint Lucas, Ghent has invited Otis MFA Graphic Design students to join a three-day workshop hosted by a visiting artist. Following the workshop, all students and a greater design community audience will attend “Bold Italic,” a one-day symposium in Ghent. The fifth day in Ghent will be spent doing studio visits curated by Jan en Randoald. A closing party will occur on March 15th. Depart independently March 16th.
