This image bank began in 1997 as part of the Getty Information Institute's "Faces of L.A." Project. More than 1500 images documenting both featured artists and their projects were selected and digitized. More images have been added from a Woman's Building archive maintained by Otis College. The archive is available to researchers by appointment. Comments or questions? Email: maberry@otis.edu
