Kurant, an artist from Warsaw, Poland, received a BA in Art History from University of Łódź and a MA in Creative Curating from Goldsmiths College in London.
Graduate Writing presents a reading by Pierre Joris, who has moved between the U.S., Europe, and North Africa for 50 years, publishing more than 40 books of poetry, essays and translations. In 1992 he returned to the Mid-Hudson Valley, and currently teaches poetry and poetics at the State University of New York, Albany. Recent publications include Meditations on the Stations of Mansur al-Hallaj (poems) from Chax Press; Diwan Iffrikya: An Anthology of North African Writings from Prehistory to Today, co-edited with Habib Tengour from the University of California Press; his translation of The Meridian: Final Version—Drafts—Materials by Paul Celan; andJustifying the Margins: Essays 1990-2006.
