On December 4, 2012, more than 200 cultural leaders, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and business leaders convened at Google's new YouTube Space LA, approximately two miles from Otis.
Presenters included Dr. Robert Kleinhenz, V.P. and Chief Economist for the Kyser Center for Economic Research of the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) and economist Ann Markusen. Mark Lacter, Editor of LA Biz Observed, led a round-table discussion with regional thought leaders on actionable ideas to support the creative economy development in the L.A. region. The three co-chairs of the Creative Economy Convergence Task Force – Olga Garay-English, Tyler Stonebreaker, and Samuel Hoi – also participated. Download the 2012 Report
