This public event will release the Otis Report on the Creative Economy of the Los Angeles Region. This year's program-called "Unleashing L.A.'s Creative Potential," will include a presentation by Dr. Nancy D. Sidhu, V.P. and Chief Economist for the Kyser Center for Economic Research of the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) on the report's new findings and 5-year employment projection. A panel discussion and Q&A will follow with top business, philanthropic, and art and design leaders. Confirmed speakers include Sir Ken Robinson, author and creativity expert, and Laura Zucker, executive director, Los Angeles County Arts Commission. Frances Anderton, host of KCRW's DnA: Design & Architecture and producer of To the Point, will be the moderator.
