Introduction to Ceramic Production


With emphasis on functional ceramics, students are introduced to two-piece plaster mold making, slip casting, hump and slump molds, extrusion, potter's wheel, and low fire non-toxic glazes. By the end of the course, students produce a cup, bowl, plate, and vase. Lab hours: Thursday, 5:00p-7:00pm
