Advanced Digital Design for Fashion and Textiles


In this course, students build upon skills learned in either Digital Design for Fashion or Digital Design for Textiles, while utilizing software including Corel Painter, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. The course also covers how to use social media (Facebook, Tumblr, blogs, etc.) to create an online portfolio. Course is ideal for those working in the design industry who are proficient in basic Photoshop and Illustrator and would like to take their portfolio to the next level.

Prerequisite: XFSH4031 Digital Design for Fashion or XSRF4100 Digital Design for Textiles or prior approval of the instructor.

First class materials: Digital storage device (1G thumb drive best), binder for handouts
