    Helen K. Garber. An intimate friend and neighbor of the Santa Monica Pier, Helen K. Garber has visited the Pier at least 1000 times over the past 30 years. Her Noir images of the Santa Monica Pier are in the permanent collection of the George Eastman House, International Museum of Film & Photography, the Brooklyn Museum and the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art. Other images from her Urban Noir series are in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of the City of New York, the Portland Museum of Art and many fine private and corporate collections.
