    Introduction to Screenwriting

    This course focuses on the fundamentals of screenwriting, providing students with the opportunity to develop their movie idea into a full-length feature screenplay.

    Students learn the basic elements of screenwriting including premise, story structure, plot, theme, character development, dialogue, narrative drive, tone, genre, and format. Industry guest speakers may include agents, managers, producers, and development executives.
