    College Preparation: Digital Imaging

    This class introduces the fundamentals of digital art through a series of projects based on current events and personal stories. In this course students create album covers, movie posters, advertisements, and a cohesive mini-series of images of the students’ proposed focus. Students learn through the hands-on use of equipment like digital cameras, scanners, printers, and software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge. Students develop technical and conceptual skills to carry into college and professional environments.

    Prerequisite: None

    First Class Materials: $22 lab fee payable to instructor for copy card. Additional copy cards are available in $10 and $20 amounts (tax not included) through the Otis Business Office
