Eileen Cowin is an artist who sees living as a means to break boundaries, and psychology as a way to confront us with strange attitudes or to implicate us in seemingly self-imposed spatial confinements. –Art Papers April 2007 by Eve Wood

Creative Action and the NEIGHBORGAPBRIDGE class presents a participatory installation investigating stress and comfort.
In this cultural probe participants are invited to share stories about their experiences of stress and descriptions of their beds, then crumble the paper they wrote on (to relieve the stress) and post the story on the wall in the Otis cafe. More info at neighborgapbridge.tumblr.com.

NEIGHBORGAPBRIDGE is a global community building initiative and a Creative Action class taught by Patty Kovic and Michele Jaquis. Fall 2013 students include Melvin Alvarez, Sophie Bertelsen, Jessica Chung, Negin Fashadgohar, Josh Hernandez, Joel Israel, Ben Kim, and Angela Wong. Special thanks to Simon in the Otis Cafe, Peter and Twin in Facilities, and Darren in the Otis Center for International Education.
