  • Professor Julia Czerniak is educated in both architecture and landscape architecture, and serves as Associate Dean at the School of Architecture at Syracuse University. Through her own design practice, CLEAR, and most recently as the former inaugural Director of UPSTATE: Syracuse’s SOA’s Center for Design, Research and Real-Estate, Julia’s  research and practice draw on the intersection of landscape and architecture.

  • Alumni from Otis, Art Center, and CalArts are invited to celebrate the holidays at our second annual alumni holiday mixer. Eat, drink, be merry, and enjoy live music! Alumni are invited to bring a guest, but this event is closed to the public.

Architecture/Landscape/Interiors Class of 2003 Installation

Each year, OTIS College of Art and Design's graduating Architecture/Landscape/Interiors (A/L/I) seniors design and build a full-scale spatial environment in their final semester of study.

2003 A/L/I seniors (Robert Apodaca, Michael Aquino, Jason Burton, Jae Chang, Dolly Davis, Kristen Erickson, Maki Honjo, Sung Yeon Kim, Linda Lu, Michele Penner and Young Rho) designed, fabricated and installed a single, very large object (8'x8'x73') consisting of 12 modules: 1 module with both a front and back side for each of the 11 students plus 1 food & drink walk-through module. Students' studio projects were displayed via back-lit prints and physical models.
